The Danger Caused by Not Seeking Proper Treatment

Endodontic or Root Canal Therapy becomes necessary when the central part of the tooth or pulp, becomes diseased. Symptoms that infection or disease has reached the pulp are pain in the tooth, jaw or face, and/or being very sensitive to hot or cold.

If you have an infection in the tooth, this can lead to abscess; an infection in the tooth that spreads out of the root and can sometimes work it's way into a different area of the mouth or face causing swelling, pain and tenderness. Endodontic infections are serious because they have the capacity to spread even farther in the body and cause more life threatening situations.

Endomagic

Our office has put into effect the system used by the prominent Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dentistry called the Endomagic system. The advanced design of the instruments used and the outlined progression of their use makes it possible to give you treatment that is pain free, promotes faster healing and that will have a predictable, successful outcome. It also makes it possible to complete the procedure in only one visit!

In some cases, we also use Endodontic techniques for a tooth that is broken and that doesn't have much tooth structure left. A root canal can help us avoid an extraction of the entire tooth and make it possible to use the remaining tooth structure to support the placing of a natural looking crown, restoring the look and the function of the tooth.
