Our goal is to help our patients to be able to retain their own natural teeth if at all possible. Sometimes, because of dental deterioration or budget considerations, dentures may be the best option. Many of our denture procedures involve patients who already have dentures and need to replace them. We've found that on the average, our patients are wearing dentures that are at least 18 years old. Dentures that are this old have a lot of bacterial growth that can cause unpleasant odors and denture sores, compromising your health!

Over time, the bone architecture of the mouth of a denture wearer changes. This means that the fit of the dentures changes. When dentures do not fit well and are not comfortable, we have found that our patients are no longer wearing them regularly and this is causing problems with their ability to perform normal daily functions.

We take a new and accurate impression of the patient's mouth, and then send this information to a lab that produces a new denture. If you like the appearance and are comfortable with the fit of your older denture, but need to replace them, we can create a virtual clone of it; recreating both fit and appearance. These new dentures are made of advanced materials that look and feel natural. This life-like resin material can also absorb higher impact levels and is more durable, reducing the likelihood of damage and costly repairs. These new materials are also more resilient against minute fractures, meaning less areas for bacteria to harbor in your mouth.

In the past, a partial denture was held in place by very visible metal clasps. New partial dentures use an advanced flexible resin as an aesthetic alternative, giving you invisible support. We are also able to provide dentures that fit over implants, which help to anchor and stabilize them.
